The Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and Engineering Student Council bring you..

ODYSSEY: Industrial Engineering Days 2012!

Starting from January 30 to February 3, join us on our week-long celebration of greatness that will cater to the various aspects that constitute an excellent Industrial Engineer through games, seminars, a project exhibit and an outreach activity!

DAY 1: Awaken your spirit and rekindle your passion for the arts. Feel the power of a god as we expose your hidden talents for singing!

DAY 2: It’s time to recognize our faculty’s great contributions to our department. Let’s give them a break and appreciate them as selected students give tribute to our very brilliant and hardworking professors and lecturers!

DAY 3: You know where to go after class! A pre-junior talk will be conducted from 4-6pm at the Eng’g theater for freshies and sophees to be more familiarized to the course they are taking-up. Meanwhile, the best project awardees for the past year will be given a chance to discuss their work in front of the IE community so as to inspire and to be a model for the younger ones.

DAY 4: It’s time to bring out the competitive spirits of the batches as they battle out against each other and see who will reign supreme!

DAY 5: Love and be loved! Extend your hands to those hapless souls and lift them up to the skies. To culminate the week, a “GRAND PAKAIN” will be held, with the donations serving as entrance fee. The gathered donations will then be given to a charity for the kids.

From this day forward, sweet victory is ours. Celebrate it with glory!

Deadline of additional requirements for UP College of Engineering Awards for Student Excellence (UP CoE-ASE) is on January 31, 2012 at the ESC Office.
Please note that those applying ONLY for the awards are required to submit the additional requirements.
